The earliest evidence of ancient dentistry we have is an amazingly detailed dental work on a mummy from ancient Egypt that archaeologists have dated to 2000 BCE. The work shows intricate gold work around the teeth. This mummy was found with two donor teeth that had holes drilled into them. Wires were strung through the holes and then around the neighboring teeth.

muji spice book

Traveling with your spice rack is not ideal. This is why Japanese company, Muji, has made a book of spices to make flavoring your food while away from home a little bit easier.

This book from Muji is full of pages that are made of spiced paper, which dissolve from the heat and moisture of cooking. Now that kick of white pepper or red chili is just a tear away. And, since it is compact and perfectly portable, the Muji spice book is ideal for when you’re traveling!

“I really don’t see things as a director when I’m wearing my actor’s hat—that’s a stupid expression, but you get it. I would never dare disrespect an artist by telling him, ‘Have you thought about putting your camera there?’ I’m interested in being good and being credible. If ever I felt like there was a directing choice that would damage the quality of acting, I would probably ask questions.” — Xavier Dolan
